S4K DREAM: "My wife, 8 year old son and I have just seen the production of "A midsummer night's dream" at the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton.We were absolutely delighted with the production. The cast are talented, motivated and professional without a single weak performance. In this world of 2/3rds effort and surly it'll do, it is fantastic to experience something that leaves you feeling uplifted. Whilst our 8 year old felt that the kissing was ugh soppy, we felt it was pitched at exactly the right level and wove Shakespeare seamlessly into a contemporary adaptation that will encourage a new generation to seek out the Bard and enjoy theatre in general.
