romeo2008_tn.pngWe are thrilled to announce that our five-star hit musical show,
S4K's Romeo & Juliet - The Musical will be touring the UK from September 2008, opening at The Palace Theatre, Mansfield

The show will tour across the country until December and then return for the spring season (with S4K's The Tempest) before touring internationally in the spring of 2009.

Critics were unanimous in their praise for the show's last tour:

The company take Shakespeare’s well-plotted tale of star-crossed lovers and throw in the kind of magic that children expect to see but rarely get when they walk into a theatre

The Stage

An energetic, enthusiastic cast, quality writing, music and choreography, Shakespeare 4 Kidz go from strength to strength.

Yorkshire Pocklington Post

Hundreds of schoolchildren roared their approval before going home and no doubt telling their parents: "You should have been there". It was that good

If William Shakespeare could see this musical version of his famous love story, staged by the hugely talented Shakespeare 4 Kidz company, I'm sure he would be delighted.

Wolverhampton Midlands Observer

The musical numbers with which the show is sprinkled were packed with a modern beat, comedy or, of course, romance, and all elicited much applause.

Such is the reputation of this company, that teachers know their pupils will love the show even though, as I confirmed with the youngsters sitting behind me, they had studied the story and knew the ending was a sad one.

Croydon Advertiser

Don't miss out!! This show is perfect for all children studying Shakespeare at any level (KS2, KS3 and KS4), and is a hit with familes of all ages up and down the country.

Come see what all the fuss is about - now you'll UNDERSTAND why they fell in love.

Our full touring schedule is available here.

SPRING 2009 DATES WILL BE ADDED SHORTLY

What they say about us:

S4K HAMLET: "The children thought it was brilliant. They have really got into the play at school - and your production provided a triumphal conclusion to their Shakespearian baptism. It is vital that first experiences of Shakespeare on stage are positive - you served our children magnificently, and I thank you."
