"To any teachers who think it might be too 'dumbed down' for top set Year 9 students: don't be fooled. Over the years, every single friend we have invited along to these performances has fallen under the spell. One child (who subsequently came in the top 5 in the country for GCSE English)said that she understood and enjoyed the S4K Macbeth much better than anything they were doing at school for KS3 SATS. It is Shakespeare 4 Kidz that inspired my eldest to take A Level English Literature. Both she and my middle child have now read several original Shakespeare play for pleasure and now enjoy quoting their favourite passages."
