| Spring dates added to UK theatre tour |
|
More spring dates and new venues have been announced today for the spring section of our UK tour featuring S4K’s Romeo and Juliet – The Musical and S4K’s The Tempest. A full up-to-date listing of all forthcoming performances can be found on our listings page or by clicking here. We are returning to popular venues such as the Liverpool Empire, the Sunderland Empire, the Hull New Theatre, the Wolverhampton Grand, Derngate in Northampton, the De Montfort Hall in Leicester, The Orchard in Dartford and The Salford Lowry, whilst introducing new venues at Basingstoke, Lowestoft and the newly built theatre at Ockendon School. The Haymarket in Basingstoke will host R&J at 1.30pm and 7.30pm on Thursday 22nd January and The Tempest on Friday 23rd at 10.00am and 1.30pm. The Marina Theatre Lowestoft will present R&J on Friday 27th March at 10.30am and 1.30pm. The newly built theatre at Ockendon School in Essex will house both shows over the two days of Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th March with full performance details still to be confirmed. The UK tour – in association with The Capitol in Horsham – closes at the Octagon Theatre, Yeovil on Friday 3rd April prior to an International Tour of S4K’s Romeo and Juliet – The Musical to countries in Europe and the Middle East. Further details of the international dates will be announced at the beginning of October. |
