HAVE YOU GOT THE S4K FACTOR?

Thank you for visiting this page to find out about our search for young star to play the SON OF MACDUFF in our forthcoming shows in Dubai.

As in the UK we recruit a local young actor to play the roles of SON OF MACDUFF and the THIRD APPARITION in Act Two of the show. 

We thought it would be a great idea to offer TEN young people (a different actor for each of the TEN shows) the chance to share the stage with our fantastic cast.

THERE ARE FOUR STEPS TO TAKE BEFORE THE AUDITION DAY:

  3. PREPARE a short SPEECH, POEM or MONOLOGUE (it doesn't have to be a Shakespeare piece!) to recite at the audition

THE AUDITION DAY IS SATURDAY 27 FEBRUARY 2010

THE VENUE IS THE DUCTAC, MALL OF THE EMIRATES (in the Kilachand Studio Theatre)

TIME - FROM 10am


WHEN YOU ARRIVE ON THE DAY:
  1. Arrive at DUCTAC, Mall of the Emirates at your designated TIME SLOT on SATURDAY 27 FEBRUARY
  2. You will be asked to wait in a Holding Zone until your audition slot time
  3. At the audition, you will be asked to recite your prepared speech/poem on stage; you MAY be asked to read part of the scene with LADY MACDUFF as well.
  4. BE PREPARED for anything, but most of all HAVE FUN!

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. You will need to be between 140cms and 150 cms tall, and between the ages of 8 and 11
  2. You must be available to play the role in the designated performance - and you MUST have full permissions from your school to participate in the show (we hope your school will come along to support you)
  3. Your parent or a designated guardian MUST chaperone you throughout the time you are in the theatre on the performance day. S4K operates under strict guidelines with regard Child Performances, a copy of these guidelines will be available at the auditions.
