Double double, toil and trouble... the exciting theatre company Shakespeare 4 Kidz will bring a tale of superstition, doom and destruction to Royal & Derngate on Monday 25 January, when they perform their unique, children-friendly version of Macbeth.

Arguably Shakespeare's most famous and enduring tragedy, Macbeth brings to life the tale of a Scottish warrior who learns from three witches that his destiny is to become King of Scotland. Here begins a story full of bloody battles, gruesome ghosts and a forest that moves!

Shakespeare 4 Kidz combine Shakespeare's original text of Macbeth with easy-to-understand modern language, song and dance to create a musical version of the play that is the perfect introduction to the Bard for children and young people.

This is an ideal way to engage students who are studying Macbeth at school in an interesting and creative way, or for families wishing to introduce their children to Shakespeare. Shakespeare 4 Kidz are guaranteed provide a truly memorable portrayal of Macbeth to children of any age.
