Theatre company, Shakespeare 4 Kidz, will be on tour this autumn term with its production of Macbeth. Opening at the Palace Theatre Mansfield in Nottingham on the 8th September, the production will be performing at venues nationwide until the 20th November.

Using the most famous quotes from Shakespeare’s original text woven into modern language, with the addition of dances and songs, Shakespeare 4 Kidz aims to make Macbeth accessible for educational groups of all ages, including younger primary school children.

The infamous Scottish play tells the story of murderous warlord Macbeth who, pressurised by his domineering wife and egged on by the prophecies of the three witches, hatches a blood-thirsty scheme to steal the throne. The production retains the original plot along with all the major characters.
