Shakespeare 4 Kidz Statement on the pending review of the proposed Vetting & Barring Scheme. 

S4K welcome the review of the proposed Vetting & Barring Scheme for people who work with children and vulnerable adults.

We support the CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) process and accept that it is not comprehensive enough as it stands, but believe that the proposed Vetting & Barring system is too extreme a measure and demonstrates an attitude of guilty until proven ionnocent.

We support the review and encourage the common sense attitude to this and hope for a new system that will protect both child and adult alike.
