romeo gib poster.jpgS4K's Romeo and Juliet has opened in Gibraltar at the John Mackintosh Hall on what is the last week of a national and international tour that stretches back to last September.

There are eight performance in total at the John Mackintosh Hall with an extra special evening show on THURSDAY 18 JUNE at 8.00pm. Tickets are available from Blands in Market Lane.

West End performersin the show include NEIL TOON (Hairspary, Les Miserables) as Romeo and CLAIRE MARLOWE (Whistle Down the Wind) as Lady Capulet; and making her S4K debut in the cast is Nicola Delaney as the Nurse.

There's even a unique Gibraltan flavour running through the company as the real-life fathers of both Neil Toon (ROMEO) and Sarah Gimblett (JULIET) were both born in Gib.

The show's creators Julian (JC) Chenery and Matt (I was born in Gibraltar) Gimblett will be in town during this week to help celebrate the end of a highly acclaimed tour.

Says JC, "The whole company are excited to be spending the final week of the tour on the Rock, a place that !oves to celebrate and recognise its Britishness. We are very proud to be here as part of the celebrations of teh Gibraltar spring festival."

What they say about us:

"The students sat mesmerised for the entire two hour production. They all raved about how much they enjoyed the show. even the adults were impressed - not by the quality of the show, but by the reactions of our students."
