| KS3 Set Scene Seminar |
NAA GUIDELINES: KEY STAGE 3 OUR AIM: To bring to life through professional actors the two scenes set for Key Stage 3 S.A.T. making them accessible and fully understood. CONTENT: This is a supportive and informative 1 hour session which is aimed to assist pupils with their Key Stage 3 S.A.T. on Shakespeare. Two skilled professional actors, with teaching knowledge and experience, focus on the two set scenes selected for Key Stage 3. First, pupils interact with the unique and easily understood Shakespeare 4 Kidz version of the scenes. This is then gradually substituted by Shakespeare’s language, once the foundation of understanding is in place. The questions that are explored adhere to S.A.T. questions on character empathy, atmosphere and mood, and directorial choices. These questions are investigated practically, through group interaction.
